PROJECT: Pungiglione is a Co-operative that through the implementation of and amp;quot;Welfare Services quot; and and amp;quot;production-work quot; activities contributes to the development of the local community, alongside the municipal and partner organizations in the project, implementation and management of social services and interventions, in a logic of overcoming the assistance in favor of the recognition of the person apos;s abilities. The Arianna apos;s house is composed by a family-house and a social/educational center. The missions of this cooperative is to support people with specific needs to develop their full potential and make them more aware of the environment.The Arianna apos;s house is surrounded by a green space which is about to be transformed into a social garden. The project is composed of two main lines : a physical part and a social part.
WORK
WORK: Volunteers will be involved in activities for about 6 hours a day, and will have two days off. Social Garden – House maintenance :volunteers will involve in the house maintenance and in the creation of an internal murales. The volunteer will set up a social garden with the creation of decorative ceramic elements and furnishing accessories for the green space.Social aspect: volunteers will take care daily activities, of the services, in collaboration and contact with the housess benificiaries. They will work on the creation of an alternative communication laboratory that overcomes the physical and cultural language barriers through non verbal communication.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD
ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD: In a guest house with kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch, dinner instead will take place within the 2 family houses. Local and seasonal products are preferred, and vegetables and fruits are available for any vegetarian menu. As for the accommodation, some of the premises of the facility, with annex services and showers, will be made available, volunteers will need to bring an air mattress. NO lavandery.

REQUIREMENTS: The relationships with the guests and the people with specials needs is important, that is why social and communication competences are needed. Workcamp open to volunteers 25 yo.
