
Are you a young person living or active in a rural area with a passion for technology? The European Rally 2026 invites you to Switzerland for a week of learning, networking, and innovation!
This year’s event, hosted by the Swiss Rural Youth Association (SLJV) in cooperation with Rural Youth Europe, focuses on leadership in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation.
When and Where?
- Dates: 15 to 22 August 2026
- Location: Landquart, Switzerland
What’s in it for you? The program is designed to empower rural youth to:
- Develop leadership skills tailored for the digital age.
- Understand how Artificial Intelligence impacts local communities and how to use it responsibly.
- Strengthen critical thinking against digital misinformation.
- Meet young people from 16+ different countries, exchanging ideas and experiences in a multicultural environment.
Who can apply?
- Young people aged 18 to 30.
- Individuals active in youth organizations or their local communities.
- Those interested in leadership, digital tools, and rural development.
- A good command of English is required.
How to participate? Interested participants should contact the national member organization of Rural Youth Europe in their respective country. Registration typically opens in mid-April 2026 and closes by the end of May 2026.
Note on costs: Participation fees and travel expenses are often covered or subsidized through national organizations and European programs (e.g., Erasmus+).
